darkness scattered edges round

husk of corn turning brown

lightness fades from force of day

that hinders on the luck of play

here is holding hiding fast

the edges round the darkest glass

and open ended future folds

culminates in wisps of hold

of demons hands that grasp to choke

the askers heart of bloated broke

the list of trophies satan waves

still too short to scare the Brave

The battlefield of mind

Alights in the wildfires of glow.

The throne still belongs to HIS own.

We are known by our fruits,

and defined.

Wiped

Fire fire burning bright

Start again until its right

The Lord will wipe

The lacking green

To Awe His Power

Fierce and mean

Verdant wealth

Heaped with lies

Sudden flash

Succumbs and tries

To escape the ash

Of gray

Wake of day

Reveals the storm

That overnight

Took the form

Of devastation

Acres lost

And many more

Will feel the wrath

God has in store

For the wicked

Consider plead

In midst of day

To find the grace

Still at bay

And be hidden
